Director Bios

Growing up on Long Island, S was shooting neighborhood film & videos from age ten. After graduating from Loyola University in New Orleans, he immediately got back to New York to work as a camera assistant.

S got his big break shooting music videos, TV shows, short films & commercials.  He is now a nationally known DP, working with some of the best agencies and advertisers in the country, like Nike, Revlon, AT&T, Sprint, Toyota, Macy’s to name a few.

As a director, S’s DP experience not only gives him the ability to fill the frame beautifully but also a keen insight into the technical aspects of cinematography.

The film making process has never been more dynamic, and S is a proactive director that embraces new technology. He brings a fresh approach to every project. He has worked with many celebrities, producers & agencies.  AND most recently, S shot and co-directed a documentary series titled “Head to Head” for Y&R, which took the The Bronze Award at the Cannes Lions International Advertising Awards.

W, CEO. A native New Yorker, received his BA from UCLA and his MFA in film from NYU’s prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, where he wrote and directed several award winning films. W’s early professional experience was spent as a copywriter and creative director. W’s directing career began soon thereafter.

Stylistically his work features a fluid blend of beautiful imagery and rich emotion. Thanks to his narrative background, W approaches each project both analytically and emotionally, looking for the hook that will help an ad resonate.

He has directed spots for clients including PRICELINE.COM, HAAGEN DAZS, PFIZER, SHOWTIME NETWORK, WASHINGTON HOSPITAL CENTER, and VANGUARD INVESTMENT SERVICES. W has created ads for investment companies, insurers, hospitals and most of the major pharmaceutical companies in the world. W has earned the support of many loyal clients who continue to benefit from his experience and thorough creative process.

W resides in New York City with his wife and two daughters.

After graduating from the University of Miami with a degree in Film and Television, M went to work as a production assistant in the advertising department of Burdines, now Macy’s, a Miami based department store.

It was at Burdines that he learned the business of retail advertising from the bottom up, eventually becoming VP/Broadcast Creative Director for the chain. Retail advertising changes as fast as the styles they promote, and M learned to keep an eye on fashion, music, and lifestyle trends. M left Burdines to pursue freelance directing work, and his trend spotting skills were invaluable in shooting campaigns for other national retailers.

M has worked with many prestigious accounts including, Calvin Klein, Kenneth Cole, Nine West, Sean John, Tommy Hilfiger, Nautica, Godiva, INC, Phat Farm, Clinique, Keri Skin Lotion. Let’s face it – If it’s sold at Macy’s – M has worked on it, from fashion to home and everything in between.

The winner of numerous RAC, ADDY and Telly Awards, M brings a fresh sensibility to his work combining stylized imagery, dynamic visual choreography and kinetic effects to create a modern, lasting impression.

M specializes in Retail, Fashion, Beauty, Home and Lifestyle but is actively pursuing other genres like comedy (see Personals), drama, short and feature films, and TV shows.
